Control synth notes

Edited

You can control how high or low your synth's notes are using pitch or frequency. Pitches are numbered and refer to the notes on a musical scale you’re probably already familiar with.

For example, this code plays a middle C, note 60, which can also be written as C4.

In contrast, frequency is measured in hertz (Hz), and it isn’t constrained by a musical scale. This allows you to make some weird sounds! The human ear can hear in the range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.

In short: The synth set pitch and synth set frequency blocks are two ways of controlling the same thing. Choose whichever format you're more familiar with, or whichever helps you achieve your desired sound effect!
