A Tynker lesson serves as the fundamental instructional unit consisting of one or more project modules. These lessons encourage the development of problem-solving and computational thinking abilities, all while making learning to code fun.

Tynker lessons may incorporate:

  • Code introductions that explain Tynker blocks or syntax

  • Interactive prompts or videos that simplify computer science concepts

  • Bite-sized coding puzzles requiring students to solve coding challenges

  • Guided DIY coding tutorials with step-by-step instructions to complete unfinished projects

  • Practice activities where students apply what they've learned

  • Open-ended projects for students to create through code

  • Brief quizzes or multiple-choice reviews for automated assessment
