We know this disruption was incredibly stressful for educators managing grades and lesson plans. We appreciate your patience for our team as we worked around the clock to recover this data for your classrooms.

To our Tynker Community,
We know how important it is for us to support educators and students starting on their coding journeys. From Friday, March 6th, Tynker experienced a server issue that took the site offline. As a result of the server issues, this also caused the data related to students’ recent course and quiz progress to become temporarily inaccessible to us and appear incomplete in you and your students' Tynker accounts.
What You Need to Know
What was affected:
From March 6th to March 11th, access to Tynker.com was impacted, resulting in intermittent website access.
The tracking and display of recent course completion progress, including quizzes.
What was safe:
Student projects, written code, and creations were not impacted. The server issue did not impact the actual work your students and children have built, including their games and Minecraft mods.
Any course progress since the issues began (since Friday, March 6th) will still be saved.
What We Are Doing
We are working to try to restore any missing progress data. In addition we are updating our infrastructure to avoid issues in the future. We will continue updating this page with the most up to date status of our progress data recovery efforts.
A Note to Teachers
As a reminder, you can always check the latest overall status of our website at https://status.tynker.com/.

If you have any immediate questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team or your customer success manager.
